SHIPPING & DELIVERY belle patine offers 4 convenient options to recieve your purchases. Each option is described below:
LOCAL PICK-UP Always available. Save the cost of delivery or shipping by picking up your purchase in Asheville, North Carolina. If you are in the area or will be coming through, just call Customer Service (828-407-1002) at least one week in advance to set up a mutually agreeable day and time for pick-up. Pick-ups must be made within 3 weeks of purchase unless we mutually agree to some other time frame. FREE SHIP ITEMS Some of our merchandise ships for free! You will see FREE SHIPPING listed in the item's Available Options. We use all the major carriers that provide insurance and tracking. You will be sent tracking information by email. back to top STANDARD SHIP ITEMS Flat rate shipping and handling fees apply to all Standard Ship (and Oversized Ship) purchases; see chart below. These are non-freight, small to medium sized, non-furniture items; basically, anything that can fit in a standard box. Please note that shipment to international locations, U.S. territories, AK, HI, islands within the continental U.S., P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses and express ship methods are unavailable at this time. HOWEVER, if you are outside of the Lower 48 and would like to make a purchase, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance if you are willing to pay actual shipping costs, or to arrange your own shipping. Standard Ship items are typically sent out within 3 days of purchase, and arrive in 6-12 days. We use all the major carriers that provide insurance and tracking. You will be sent tracking information by email.
back to top OVERSIZED SHIP (FURNITURE) ITEMS Oversized Ship items are typically pieces of furniture varied in size, shape and weight, do not fit in a standard-sized box and have to be custom wrapped or crated. belle patine offers 4 convenient options to recieve Oversized purchases:
Oversized Items: Local Pick-Up Always available. Save the cost of delivery or shipping by picking up your purchase in Asheville, North Carolina. If you are in the area or coming through, just call Customer Service (828-407-1002) at least one week in advance to set up a mutually agreeable day and time for pick-up. Pick-ups must be made within 3 weeks of purchase unless we mutually agree to some other time frame. Oversized Items: Make Your Own Shipping Arrangements If you prefer to use a carrier of your choice, just choose "local pick-up" at Checkout and let us know the plan. We'll be happy to communicate with the carrier to arrange to get the merchandise picked-up. Packaging and wrapping must be included in your arrangements. Just have your shipper call Customer Service (828-407-1002) at least one week in advance to set up a mutually agreeable day and time for pick-up. Pick-ups must be made within 3 weeks of purchase unless we mutually agree to some other time frame at the time of purchase. You can contact us anytime, or put a note in "Comments" during Checkout and we will contact you. In this case belle patine does not charge any fees; you are responsible for all aspects of the process, and all payments due to your carrier. Oversized Items: belle patine Delivery Most items can be delivered within an approximately 300-mile radius of Asheville, NC, for a delivery charge. See the "DELIVERY" section, below, for all the details. Oversized Items: We Ship to You In addition to the standard flat rate shipping and handling fee (see chart above), Oversized Ship furniture items have a surcharge added at Checkout to cover the additional shipping costs. The surcharge is listed in the Available Options section of each item page. It varies by product due to weight, size and method of shipping. Most Oversized Ship furniture items arrive within 4-6 weeks and are shipped via freight service. Standard delivery hours are between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The delivery company will call to schedule your appointment. Please note that shipment to international locations, U.S. territories, AK, HI, islands within the continental U.S., P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses and express ship methods are unavailable at this time. If, after we ship an Oversized item it turns out that you overpaid shipping by $50 or more, we will refund the overage to you, via Paypal. If the actual charges exceed the listed amount by more than $50, we will contact you before we proceed with shipping. Our charges are typically less than shipping. Just call for a quote (828-407-1002). Deliveries are usually made within 1-4 weeks of purchase, depending on weather, individual schedules, and our delivery calendar. Contact us before purchasing to get a delivery quote and to discuss a mutually agreeable timeframe. Quotes and timelines are valid for 10 days. When making the purchase online, select the "DELIVERY" shipping method. This will generate a separate PayPal invoice for the quoted amount, due upon receipt. Once payment is recieved, we will contact you to confirm all arrangements and get you on the calendar! Please don't hesitate to contact us at any time to discuss shipping or delivery options!! We appreciate you and want to get your items to you quickly so that you can enjoy them as soon as possible! back to top CONDITION OF VINTAGE GOODS Most of the merchandise we offer is at least 50 years old, has years of use, and shows the wear and love of those years. Beautiful patinas, previous lives and heirloom quality is what we treasure about our collection. Unless otherwise noted, items should be assumed to be in very good or better condition, which means there may be signs of age or light wear, but the patina is what is expected and valued. We try to note condition issues and unusual signs of wear whenever possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more photos or information about any of our merchandise. back to top RETURNS As much as we hope you will be thrilled with your purchase, in many cases belle patine accepts returns on merchandise priced $45 or more. Sale items are not eligible for refunds at any time. We will refund the merchandise price, less a 6% transaction fee, via Paypal, within 30 days of receipt of the item. Also, if the item was shipped to you for free, a $15 return fee will be deducted. We do not refund shipping charges. Returns are accepted when:

Please note that you are responsible for all return shipping charges. If the merchandise arrives damaged, please contact Customer Service by phone (828-407-1002) or email (vintage@bellepatine.com) within 48 hours of receipt. Please follow these 4 easy steps to return merchandise: 1. Contact customer service at 1-828-407-1002 within 3 days of receipt of merchandise as determined by the shipping carrier's delivery date. 2. Receive a return merchandise authorization number and return address from Customer Service. 3. Repack merchandise in original box with original packing material. 4. Return package by preferred shipping company. Insurance and tracking on the return package is strongly recommended. back to top |
